THE LAUNCH OF THE ERINVALE MONTHLY CLUB DRAW
Erinvale Golf Club is happy to announce the launch of the highly anticipated Monthly Club Draw on the 26th August 2016.
For those members who are not sure what it entails, here is a brief outline:
Members who would like to enter each month will buy tickets from reception which will automatically place them in the draw; the price of a ticket will cost R100.00 per person. The money will be collected throughout the month and kept track of as it accumulates. Come the end of the month 3 lucky members stand a chance to win part of the total accumulated prize money.
On the night of the draw, names will be randomly selected at 3 different points in the evening. The first draw will take place at 18h00 - the winner of this draw will walk away with 20% of the money pot. The second draw will take place at 18h30 – of which the winner wins 30% of the pot and lastly at 19h00 the final draw will take place and one lucky member will receive 50% of the total pot.
In order to claim the 50% and to become the grand victor, the winning member has to be present on the night as the draw takes place! Each winner will have their winnings paid directly into their club card to spend as they so wish.

The draw will take place at the end of every month in the Playa’s Bar with live entertainment for the duration of the evening. On the day of the actual draw, the last tickets can be bought at 13h00, no tickets will be sold after 13h00.
Your winnings depend on how many members choose to enter the draw. So spread the word and let’s get you winning!

Farewell:
Juan Neethling
After a highly successful welcoming to our new Chef in conjunction with the new menu, Juan Neethling resigned as he was offered a position as Executive Chef in a newly built Hotel in Nigeria, which in his own words from a financial perspective it is one he could not turn down.
Pierre Olivier:
On the same day, our Sous Chef Pierre Olivier resigned, due his wife being offered a teaching position in Vietnam and which they decided to uproot their family and move abroad.
Rudi Williams:
Lastly, Rudi Williams as F&B Manager has decided to move back to the Middle East, specifically to Qatar and his last day will be next week Friday the 26th August.
We thank all 3 of these employees for their time and efforts, and we hope they have successful careers going forward.
Welcome:
Executive Chef Pierre Fourie
With Juan’s departure, it left open a very critical position as Executive Chef available and with all the efforts and strides we have made to get the F&B up to member’s expectations it was vital to get the right candidate in place.
We believe we have found that person and are very pleased to announce Pierre Fourie as Executive Chef who brings with himself a wealth of experience from variety of establishments namely:
• Fancourt,
• The Bay Hotel,
• Crystal Towers Hotel & Spa,
• Asara Wine Estate,
• Santé Hotel & Spa.

Pierre is a family man, a proud father of two girls and a third girl on the way, whom they are expecting early in the new year. We are very excited and confident that he will make a considerable difference to our Club and he looks forward to hosting you in the restaurants soon.
