PRO SHOP UPDATE
As you may have noticed and as per previous correspondence we are in the process of significant changes in Erinvale’s pro shop. In addition to the planned renovations, there are staff changes as well.
This is in line with our revised strategy whereby Erinvale GC employs and manages the pro shop staff. For the past three years Global Golf employed the staff – under the new structure, Global Golf reimburses the pro shop salaries to the golf club – with the exception of Ryno Rudolph who remains employed and paid by Global Golf. Ryno is the link between the pro shop and Global Golf and he’ll concentrate on merchandising in his role as Retail Manager.
Today we welcome to the team Morne Oosthuizen who takes up the position of Golf Professional. In conjunction with me, he will take responsibility for the Golf Department which includes the pro shop, golf cart management, bag drop staff, starter marshalls, on course marshalls and the driving range. Morne is a PGA Professional, he was employed as Golf Manager at De Zalze GC for 5 years after he had worked up the ranks, where he was responsible for the golf shop and golf experience.
We also welcome Bronwyn Muskett-Yetts who joins the tee time reservations team to assist Deanne Wille in ensuring that members and guests’ golf bookings/events are professionally managed.

Under this restructuring, Shalom Goldstone will transfer to the Food & Beverage department in Halfway House.
Finally, JP Cawood has been offered a golf-related position at Sun City Golf Club and will be leaving us during the month of August.
I thank you in advance for your support and help in welcoming them all to Erinvale GC.
Regards,
Gavin
